Marc B. Geller APC is a national practice exclusively limited to criminal defense and related matters. Mr. Geller began his legal practice as an intern with Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. in 1971. After leaving Federal Defenders, he formed a law partnership with James P. Hagerstrom the past director and chief trial attorney at Federal Defenders. Hagerstrom & Geller operated as a firm until shortly before Mr. Hagerstrom's death. The existing professional corporation was formed in 1994.
Marc B. Geller, A Professional Corporation is devoted to representing persons accused of crimes throughout the state of California and in Federal Courts in all states. Mr. Geller has also practiced in state courts in Arizona and Nevada. The firm has had cases in the Supreme Courts of California and Nevada as well as in the United States Supreme Court.
Mr Geller specializes in all types of federal and state criminal cases from the most complex conspiracies to the simplest misdemeanors. Although the emphasis is in complex drug trafficing, white-collar crimes and serious felonies, the firm also regularly represents persons charged with drunk driving, shop-lifting, burglery, domestic violence, fraud and juvenile crimes, and all misdemeanors. The firm handles all aspects of criminal defense practice, including trials, plea-bargins, writs, appeals, asset forfeitures administrative and other hearings before the Department of Motor Vehicles and other agencies.
